Job Requirements

  • Education level equivalent to college degree or relevant work history
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar event management role
  • TABC certification and Food Handlers license required in Texas
  • Able to lift 30 lbs frequently and stand or walk 8 to 12 hours
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Available to work weekends holidays and late nights

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred
  • College degree or applicable work history
  • TABC and Food Handlers license required in Texas
  • Experience leading a high-energy team
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with the hiring and training of banquet employees including bartenders servers and dishwashers
  • Ensure all banquet staff conduct clock-in and clock-out procedures
  • Assist with scheduling hourly staff for events while maintaining proper staffing levels
  • Execute Banquet Event Orders and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Follow safe food handling guidelines
  • Nurture and develop employees through training coaching and providing feedback
  • Lead food and beverage and back-of-house operations during events
  • Lead set-up and breakdown of event spaces
  • Maintain venue cleanliness pre and post events
  • Assist with procuring and ordering event and venue supplies including alcohol
  • Enforce company standards policies and procedures
