With a rich history of welcoming more than 3 billion guests worldwide, Hilton continues to set the gold standard in hospitality through its expansive portfolio of world-class hotel brands. The company's mission to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality shapes every aspect of its operations, from guest services to employee engagement. Hilton's commitment to its team members is equally strong, providing a supportive environment that encourages career growth, personal development, and work-life balance. The organization prides itself on creating an award-winning culture, repeatedly recognized on the World's Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, making it an ideal place for those seeking a meaningful and rewarding career in hospitality.
As an Event Manager at Hilton, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our guests' experiences by overseeing all facets of event planning and execution. This position is not merely about managing events; it's about spreading hospitality's warmth and creating memorable moments that guests will cherish. With a focus on flawless execution, you will manage event documentation, facilitate smooth transitions from sales to service, and serve as the primary client contact on property to ensure every event runs seamlessly. Your role extends to maximizing revenue opportunities by identifying upsell possibilities and recommending enhancements that not only increase contract value but also elevate the guest experience.
Building strong client relationships is at the heart of this role. You will communicate with clients throughout the event lifecycle to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and encourage repeat business. Leadership is a key component, as you will guide your team by communicating client requirements, offering direction, and providing feedback and coaching to maintain consistent, high-quality service standards. Your involvement will also support the sales process, participating in client site visits and pre-event meetings to demonstrate product knowledge and assist in crafting event solutions that meet client needs.
Problem-solving skills are crucial as you will be expected to apply sound judgment to resolve guest concerns, negotiate service adjustments, and handle issues calmly and effectively under pressure. Hilton's core values underscore this role, emphasizing hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency. These values drive the exceptional guest experiences Hilton is known for and foster a work environment where team members thrive.
Hilton goes beyond guest service to invest deeply in its team members' wellbeing. The company offers incredible travel perks, such as the Go Hilton travel program with deeply discounted rates at its hotels worldwide. Team members can also participate in the employee stock purchase program to build their financial future. Additional benefits include paid parental leave, caregiving support, crisis concierge, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and retirement plans. These benefits underscore Hilton's commitment to supporting its employees through all stages of life.
Joining Hilton means becoming part of a respected and award-winning workplace culture that values diversity, growth, and excellence. Whether you are launching a new career or seeking to advance in the hospitality field, Hilton provides a nurturing environment and resources to help you succeed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by contributing to the memorable stays of guests while growing professionally in a globally esteemed company.
