The university promotes creativity, innovation, and the pursuit of knowledge across multiple disciplines, serving students, faculty, and staff from all backgrounds. Wisconsin Athletics, a vital department within the university, provides opportunities for community engagement through sports and live events, offering world-class facilities like Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center where athletic and entertainment events take place regularly.

Wisconsin Athletics is seeking a driven and experienced Event Manager or Senior Event Manager to join its well-established Event Management team. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting concerts, major live events, and athletic contests held at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center. Key responsibilities include working closely with event promoters and production managers, overseeing onsite logistics, and ensuring compliance with client contracts and venue requirements. The manager will also assist with post-event settlements, maintaining communication with stakeholders to guarantee the smooth operation of each event.

In addition to entertainment events, this position involves supporting the broader athletics event management team, with a specific focus on managing particular sports based on departmental needs and individual strengths. The ideal candidate is passionate about live events and concerts, thrives in high-pressure environments, and displays adaptability and problem-solving creativity. Supervisory duties may be involved, including managing staff and contributing to hiring and performance evaluations. The role demands a collaborative and team-oriented approach, strong work ethic, and the capacity to deliver high-quality experiences for all participants and attendees.
