Event Manager or Assistant (Part Time)

We are seeking a Part-Time Event Manager to join our team and play a critical role in the successful execution of our candlelight concerts. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment where every event is a chance to craft something magical. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and well-organized, with a strong focus on customer service and event management. As an Event Manager at Lumos Experiences, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of event setup, including transforming venues into our signature candlelit environments, managing guest operations, and coordinating with musicians and venue staff to ensure a seamless event flow.

In this role, you will take ownership of each concert you manage, from initial setup through post-event breakdown. You will ensure that guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience by overseeing check-in and seating processes, addressing challenges professionally, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout each event. The position requires availability on Fridays and Saturdays, along with reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout the Chicagoland area, sometimes up to 2.5 hours for select events.

This is a part-time role with pay starting at $25.00 per hour and includes benefits such as a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel.
