The Event Manager must maintain clear communication among stakeholders, update and manage lead statuses, oversee changes or cancellations, and promote high guest satisfaction by fostering strong client relationships. The role also emphasizes leadership and teamwork, requiring the manager to supervise and guide team members, promote a culture of mutual respect, continuous improvement, and safety, while upholding company standards of conduct. Flexibility in working varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. The position requires a minimum of five years' supervisory or managerial experience in the hospitality industry, with specific preference given to candidates with hotel operations experience. Familiarity with the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry and proficiency in relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office, LMS, EBMS, Micros, and Meeting Matrix are essential. The Event Manager must exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships effectively and handle stressful situations with tact and professionalism. This comprehensive role is vital to maintaining The Venetian Resort's reputation as a premier event destination by ensuring all events not only meet but exceed client expectations, thus promoting guest loyalty and operational excellence.
