Job Description

Our company is a distinguished hotel and events venue known for hosting a wide range of events from corporate meetings to lavish banquets and social celebrations. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences through impeccable service, elegant settings, and attention to detail. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable events that exceed client expectations by providing personalized service and seamless event execution. With a reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry, our establishment offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where innovation and teamwork are highly valued. We are currently seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team to help elevate our banquet services and ensure all events are flawlessly executed.

The Event Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and operational management of all banquet events. This role takes full ownership of every event detail after the booking is secured and handed off from the sales team, overseeing everything from the initial contract review through the execution on the event day. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed event timelines, arranging room layouts and seating charts, coordinating menu selections including special dietary requests, and scheduling banquet staff to match the needs of each individual event. As the primary on-site contact for event hosts, the Event Manager will lead the day-of execution ensuring that all events start on time, run smoothly, and meet all service standards.

This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments including sales, culinary, and restaurant leadership teams to provide a cohesive and exceptional guest experience. In addition to event planning and coordination, the Event Manager will also be involved in operational leadership duties such as hiring, training, and coaching banquet teams, maintaining inventory, and enforcing service standards and procedures. The role also includes financial management responsibilities like monitoring banquet profitability through labor and food cost control, supporting menu pricing strategies, and tracking key performance metrics and guest satisfaction scores.

The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of experience in hotel, catering, or banquet operations, with proven leadership capabilities in managing event execution and service teams. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential given the fast-paced and dynamic nature of banquet events. Proficiency with banquet management systems, CRM software, and event-related technology is also required. This position demands excellent guest-service skills and the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event needs.

Joining our team as an Event Manager offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile events while growing your career within a respected hospitality company. We are committed to supporting our employees’ growth and providing a positive work environment where dedication and excellence are recognized and rewarded.
