With a sprawling property that boasts 1,190 guest rooms alongside more than 170,000 square feet of versatile event spaces both indoor and outdoor, this hotel attracts countless visitors and clients seeking exceptional hospitality experiences. Hilton, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has built a reputation for delivering warm, welcoming environments that extend beyond accommodation, making every guest's stay unforgettable through dedication to outstanding service and thoughtful attention to detail.
Joining the Hilton San Diego Bayfront team as an Event Manager offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of this world-class hospitality establishment. The role goes beyond traditional event coordination; it involves creating inspiring and memorable experiences that brighten the day of every guest. As an Event Manager, you will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution with a proactive approach, ensuring seamless service and impeccable attention to client and guest needs.
This position demands a refined skill set that includes managing high-volume events within a dynamic hotel setting, driving revenue by identifying upselling opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships through ongoing communication and excellent service. The Event Manager functions as the main point of contact for clients on-site, navigating the event lifecycle from sales transition to on-premises delivery, all while guiding team members to maintain Hilton's standards of excellence.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and work cohesively with senior leadership to deliver flawless event experiences. This role also requires the ability to think quickly and solve problems efficiently, ensuring that any issues are addressed professionally and in a timely manner. Hilton’s commitment to fostering leadership, teamwork, ownership, and integrity is embodied in this position, where you have the chance to inspire others and leave a lasting impact on both guests and the team.
Moreover, Hilton provides an exceptional work culture that is recognized globally and celebrated on lists such as the World’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. When you become part of Hilton, you join a family that supports your well-being and professional growth through numerous benefits. Employees gain access to incredible travel perks including deeply discounted stays, a chance to invest in Hilton stock at a discount, paid parental leave, caregiving support, mental health resources, and comprehensive health and welfare plans.
This full-time position is perfect for professionals looking to thrive in an award-winning hospitality environment that values innovation, care, and inclusivity. Whether you are just starting your career or seeking to expand your expertise, Hilton San Diego Bayfront offers a platform to grow and make a meaningful difference in the lives of guests and colleagues alike.
