The Event Manager role at Saz's Hospitality Group offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and event coordination. As an Event Manager, you will take the helm in leading and inspiring catering teams across a variety of exciting offsite events such as Brewers tailgates, weddings, Summerfest, and the State Fair. This full-time, hourly position involves overseeing all aspects of catering events, from initial loading to final teardown, ensuring each event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting positive impression on clients, guests, and vendors alike.
No two days will be the same in this role. With a strong emphasis on leadership and operational excellence, you will execute flawless events by carefully interpreting Banquet Event Orders and directing food preparation, plating, and service activities. The role also requires hands-on involvement in transporting equipment and food to event locations using company vehicles, embodying a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
This position demands a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with physical stamina for walking, standing, and lifting moderate weights over extended periods. Saz's seeks candidates with at least two years of experience in catering, event management, or hospitality, including at least one year in a leadership role, combined with a passion for creating truly memorable guest experiences. A valid driver’s license with an insurable record is required to operate company vehicles safely.

Job Requirements
- 2+ years of catering event management or hospitality experience with 1+ year in a leadership role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to stay cool under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Valid driver’s license with insurable record
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk stand and lift moderate weights for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of catering event management or hospitality experience with 1 year in a leadership role

Job Duties
- Lead and inspire catering teams through all phases of events from loading trucks to setup to final teardown
- Be the on-site hero for clients guests and vendors ensuring every detail exceeds expectations
- Execute flawless events by interpreting Banquet Event Orders and directing food prep plating and service
- Drive the operation by transporting equipment and food to event locations in company vehicles
- Manage event timelines and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Address and resolve any issues on-site promptly to maintain event quality
- Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment is prepared and accounted for before and after events
