The full-time Event Manager role at Saz's Hospitality Group is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional ready to lead and inspire catering teams throughout all phases of offsite events. This position offers a dynamic workday filled with unique experiences ranging from Brewers tailgates and weddings to major festivals like Summerfest and the State Fair. The Event Manager plays an integral role in creating memorable and flawless events by managing all aspects of the catering process, including logistics, food preparation, service, and client engagement. This hands-on leadership position demands excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the physical ability to manage event setup and teardown. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of catering event management or hospitality experience with 1+ year in a leadership role
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable record
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to walk stand and lift moderate weights for extended periods

  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Lead and inspire our catering teams through all phases of events from loading trucks to setup to final teardown
  • Be the on-site hero for clients guests and vendors ensuring every detail exceeds expectations
  • Execute flawless events by interpreting Banquet Event Orders and directing food prep plating and service
  • Drive the operation literally by transporting equipment and food to event locations in company vehicles
  • Manage onsite logistics and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless event flow
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and customize service accordingly
  • Oversee event safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
