Fever is the world's leading tech platform dedicated to culture and live entertainment, with a mission to democratize access to culture and entertainment globally. Utilizing proprietary cutting-edge technology and a data-driven approach, Fever revolutionizes how millions of people engage with live entertainment each month. The platform reaches over 300 million users across more than 55 countries, inspiring them to discover unforgettable cultural experiences. Fever also empowers event creators with advanced data and technology tools, helping them scale, innovate, and enhance their events to connect with new and diverse audiences. The company has collaborated with major industry players such as Netflix, F.C. Barcelona, and Primavera Sound, delivering international award-winning experiences and drawing backing from leading global investors. Fever is a rapidly growing company recognized for its innovation and high-impact presence in the live entertainment industry.
Fever Originals, a key division within Fever, has been producing unique concerts since July 2019 under the Candlelight brand, which features classical music concerts performed in intimate, candlelit settings within undiscovered venues worldwide. Candlelight concerts have a presence in over 300 cities globally, including Paris, Madrid, Lisbon, New York, and many more, offering audiences a distinctive cultural experience that democratizes classical music. Fever is currently seeking a part-time onsite Event Manager to oversee Candlelight Concerts in Boston, Massachusetts. This position is essential for ensuring smooth execution and high-quality event delivery, supporting Fever’s mission of broadening cultural access. The Event Manager will act as the primary onsite contact, coordinating with staff, managing logistics, and upholding the brand's standards for an impeccable audience experience.
This part-time role offers up to 29 hours per week, with variable shifts of 4 to 8 hours per day, including occasional holiday work excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas. Compensation is set at $25 per hour, with transportation costs bundled into the hourly rate. The contract spans six months initially, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, training personnel on duties such as ticket validation and guest accommodation, managing event supplies and inventory, driving event materials to venues, and handling guest lists and event communications. The Event Manager will also deliver openings and closings at concerts, sometimes involving public speaking, and provide regular reports to Fever Originals Project Managers regarding event status and feedback. This role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, exceptional customer service skills, leadership experience, and a passion for live music and event organization.
Candidates should have at least one year of event management experience or a relevant degree, a valid driver's license is strongly preferred, and will need to bring their personal laptop for work-related tasks. Fever emphasizes inclusivity and diversity in its workplace and seeks candidates who share their commitment to excellence and cultural innovation. Joining Fever represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-moving tech company shaping the future of live entertainment with global impact.
