The Events Manager role at Aramark is a pivotal position responsible for coordinating and leading special plated meal events, including Bar Mitzvahs and weddings. This position requires hands-on involvement during banquet and catered events, directly supervising the service execution while managing Banquet Servers and Banquet Porters on the floor. The Events Manager acts as the primary service lead and is tasked with ensuring that all events proceed smoothly according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and established service standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • minimum of 1-3 years banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
  • prior lead experience on special events, plated dinners, weddings, or fine dining
  • must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
  • maintain valid TIPS or equivalent alcohol-service certification
  • comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
  • food handler certification required
