Job Description

As a well-established name in the hotel industry, we pride ourselves on maintaining a luxurious environment that caters to the needs of leisure and business travelers alike. Our property offers a wide range of amenities including premium accommodations, state-of-the-art meeting spaces, fine dining, and comprehensive event hosting capabilities. The hotel's commitment to excellence has fostered strong relationships with clients and guests, contributing to sustained business growth and a solid reputation within the community and beyond.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will lead aggressive sales efforts to generate new business and increase room sales, ensuring the hotel's competitive position in the market. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding salary and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with ample room for professional growth.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time engaged in proactive sales solicitation, including outside sales calls, inside appointments, telephone communication, and direct mail campaigns. Approximately 80 percent of the Sales Manager's time is devoted to active selling endeavors. Working in tandem with the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager will contribute to the annual marketing plan targeting specific market segments and will prepare and send proposals to potential clients, following up persistently to convert leads into confirmed bookings. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in documenting client requirements, such as room blocks, suites, meeting rooms, and banquet spaces to ensure proper reservation and flawless execution.

In addition to preparing weekly sales call reports and itineraries for the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager must maintain a sales quota and uphold a customer-centric approach by anticipating and meeting guest needs. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to nurture both client and internal staff relationships as well as the ability to flourish in a collaborative team environment dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences. Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required to meet the hotel's business demands. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform office-related tasks efficiently.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a high-energy, goal-oriented atmosphere and is passionate about driving business growth in the hospitality sector.
