ABM Industries is currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Event Manager to take charge of facility maintenance and operational performance at a high-profile client site. This leadership role demands a strategic professional who can ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while driving continuous improvement and service excellence within the facility. The Event Manager will oversee maintenance teams, manage projects, supervise budgets, and act as the primary contact for client coordination related to day-to-day facility operations. This position offers an annual salary of $70,000, with compensation varying based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Additionally, selected candidates may be eligible to participate in ABM’s incentive or bonus programs.

They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both operational and capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing facility performance. The role involves close monitoring and reporting of operational key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance metrics, and financial performance to senior leadership and the client. A significant part of the role also involves labor planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementing cost controls to sustainably manage resources. The Event Manager champion continuous improvement initiatives to boost reliability, efficiency, and the quality of service delivery, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded consistently. Maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service is essential to succeed in this role.

Job Requirements
- Leadership experience in maintenance or facility operations
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CMMS is preferred
- Ability to track, document, and analyze operational data
