Job Description
Lucky Strike Entertainment is one of the largest and most successful location-based entertainment companies in the world. Established in 1997, this entertainment powerhouse has grown from a single bowling center into a vast network of over 360 upscale and traditional bowling centers, coupled with five expansive waterparks, a large amusement park in California, and 10 upscale Boomers Family Entertainment Centers located in major markets across the country. With a team of approximately 14,000 associates and generating nearly $1.4 billion in annual revenue, Lucky Strike has positioned itself as a leader in the hospitality and entertainment industry. The company’s core mission revolves around delivering memorable experiences to every guest on every visit, emphasizing exceptional customer service and high-quality entertainment options.
As part of its commitment to excellence, Lucky Strike seeks passionate and talented individuals who wish to grow their careers in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The company offers an exciting opportunity for individuals ready to immerse themselves in the world of entertainment management – specifically as an Event Operations Manager. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a vibrant atmosphere that combines bowling, arcade games, amazing parties, and delicious food. It is not just any job, but the start of an exciting career path within one of the top entertainment companies globally.
The Event Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of events by managing and leading a dedicated team of Event Hosts. Reporting directly to the General Manager of the center, the Event Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating special events, overseeing event staff, and ensuring that every client and guest receives top-notch service that exceeds expectations. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and outstanding people skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to create seamless event experiences that drive repeat business and foster long-term client relationships.
Core responsibilities include managing event setups, maintaining strong connections with event clients, handling event reporting, and using guest feedback to continually enhance service quality. Additionally, the Event Operations Manager is tasked with staffing management, including forecasting events, scheduling staff, and enforcing HR policies related to counseling and discipline. Because events often occur outside standard business hours, flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts is essential.
Overall, this position offers an energetic and fulfilling career opportunity within a renowned entertainment company that values innovation, customer satisfaction, and career growth. Along with a competitive pay rate of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour plus commission, Lucky Strike provides performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage and various other rewards. For motivated individuals passionate about hospitality and event management, joining Lucky Strike Entertainment as an Event Operations Manager represents a promising step toward a rewarding professional future.
