Job Description
WN LLC is a dynamic company dedicated to fostering an inclusive, educational, and ever-expanding business environment. Committed to delivering high-quality products paired with exceptional customer service, WN LLC values integrity and excellence in every interaction and operation. As a company, WN LLC continuously strives to innovate and expand its reach by maintaining a positive workplace culture that supports personal and professional growth for its employees.
The Event Manager role at WN LLC is a vital position responsible for facilitating seamless coordination during events and managing logistics related to inventory transportation and staff coordination. Designed for a flexible and reliable individual, the role has a structured training phase where the new hire will work closely with a senior team member, acquiring hands-on experience both in the local office and on-site at various events. Initial training is full-time based in the office for approximately six months, transitioning into a hybrid model that combines office duties with travel to events. Eventually, the Event Manager position settles into a full-time status characterized by a 'waiting for assignment' schedule, which means the workload can vary, with periods of activity and downtime mixed with ongoing training and preparation.
Key responsibilities for this role include managing financial aspects during events, leading and supervising event staff, coordinating with executive management and senior numismatists, and managing communications with both vendors and customers around sales and purchases. The role demands active participation in scheduling and conducting client meetings, transporting and processing inventory efficiently before and throughout the events, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are present or procured as needed. The role requires traveling to numerous event locations and ensuring that the business standards are strictly upheld by the entire event team.
Candidates for this position are expected to have a high school diploma or GED and preferably some experience in convention or event coordination. The company values team leadership, basic financial management skills, and a high level of attention to detail. A proactive attitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential traits for success in this role. Additionally, the ability to lift and move up to fifty pounds, navigate airports comfortably, manage long-distance driving, and maintain focus through repetitive tasks is crucial. The role also requires excellent communication and organizational skills and familiarity with basic computer usage and equipment setup. An active and unrestricted driver’s license or Real ID is mandatory.
This role offers a competitive salary range between $50,000 and $57,500 per year and a unique hybrid work environment that blends office and travel experiences, providing ample opportunity for professional growth and development within the event management field at WN LLC.
