Job Description

Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM) is a well-established Christian teaching ministry dedicated to spreading the message of unconditional love and balancing grace and faith. For over forty years, Andrew and Jamie Wommack have been influencing lives through seminars, church teachings, radio, television, and training programs at Charis Bible College. The ministry’s mission focuses on developing materials and resources that help individuals grow in their relationship with the Lord. AWM fosters a family-like culture characterized by fun and a deep love for Jesus, emphasizing excellence, faithfulness, and integrity in serving God’s people.

The role of Project Manager for AWM and Charis Bible College events is critical to the successful execution of a diverse range of ministry activities. This full-time position centers around overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including performances, home, internal, away, and hosted events. The Project Manager acts as a vital link between multiple departments, coordinating stakeholder meetings, managing timelines, and communicating with vendors to ensure smooth project progress. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to anticipate and navigate potential risks or challenges in event management.

The Project Manager will regularly lead interdepartmental meetings, tracking progress, assigning tasks, and resolving issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget. They will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive oversight of all event details, from initial planning to post-event evaluations, including reviewing marketing assets and ensuring accuracy in event documentation. The position requires onsite management during events to ensure flawless execution according to plans and troubleshooting unexpected issues while keeping the ministry's goals in focus.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask under tight deadlines, and proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods, as well as the flexibility to work long days and weekends during events. Job Requirements

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Some college is preferred
  • Charis Bible College graduate is preferred
  • Must be trustworthy to uphold the ministry vision and execute plans as directed
  • Must pass all required checks

  • High level of initiative and proactiveness

Job Duties

  • Hold regular major stakeholder project meetings to ensure timely completion of tasks and identification of new issues to plan and manage events from start to finish
  • Communicate with major stakeholders, workgroups, and vendors as necessary to keep projects on track for planned completion dates and within defined parameters
  • Identify potential risks, constraints, or other failure points in projects and communicate those to the Director
  • Proactively identify additional stakeholders as necessary within event planning and successfully onboard them to the project
  • Maintain comprehensive oversight of the event project plan, following up with each stakeholder via email, phone, or in person as necessary
  • Monitor all key tasks and associated deliverables throughout the execution phase, reporting on issues as they arise
  • Hold status meetings and provide direction as needed
