The hotel is strategically positioned to provide guests with easy access to downtown Greenville's bustling arts, dining, and shopping scenes, making it a preferred destination for both leisure and business travelers. Hyatt Greenville prides itself on delivering high-quality service and hosting events that leave lasting impressions. This thriving hotel is now seeking to expand its dynamic team by hiring a dedicated Event Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every event held within the hotel surpasses customer expectations and contributes positively to the hotel's revenue goals.

The Event Manager at Hyatt Greenville is entrusted with the responsibility of managing and facilitating a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social celebrations and special occasions. The manager also prepares comprehensive event documentation and liaises with all relevant hotel departments to guarantee flawless execution and a consistent, high-level service experience.

Attention to detail is paramount for this role as the Event Manager must be vigilant about the specifics outlined in sales contracts and adept at resolving any discrepancies or last-minute changes. The person in this position should also possess strong communication skills, not only to maintain effective coordination within the hotel team but also to foster excellent relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Within this role, there is significant opportunity to enhance hotel revenue through up-selling and offering event enhancements customized to create memorable and exceptional events. Furthermore, the Event Manager is expected to stay informed on all aspects of sales, catering, banquet services, and overall hotel operations to proactively address potential issues and contribute ideas that improve service delivery.

Hyatt Greenville offers an enriching work environment where professional growth is encouraged, and teamwork is essential for success. This position is ideal for a motivated, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and desires to build a career in event management within the hospitality industry. The employer values inclusivity and is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer, underscoring their commitment to fair hiring practices and a supportive workplace culture. Applicants should be prepared to undergo background and substance abuse screening as part of the hiring process.
