Job Description

The Global Products Expo (GPEX) is a premier trade exhibition dedicated to the global food and beverage industry. Held at the New Jersey Convention Center, GPEX has established itself as a vital event connecting leading Middle Eastern exporters, international vendors, and prominent industry decision-makers. Set to take place from June 22 to June 24, 2026, the third edition of this expo offers an unrivaled platform for businesses to showcase their innovative products, build new partnerships, and engage with vast networks within one of the world's largest food markets. Attendees benefit not only from direct business opportunities but also from educational seminars, workshops, and cultural events designed to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.

The Event Manager role is crucial to the success of GPEX 2026, entailing full oversight of the event's planning, development, and execution phases. This role requires managing comprehensive event logistics, coordinating with multiple vendors, supervising on-site operations, and ensuring that attendees enjoy a seamless and professional experience throughout the expo. As a hands-on, contract-based position located in Jersey City, New Jersey, the Event Manager must skillfully balance budget responsibilities, liaise with speakers and various stakeholders, and oversee both event setup and breakdown activities. With a demanding schedule including evenings and weekends during the event period, the role demands exceptional organizational ability and adaptability to ensure every element aligns with the high standards of GPEX. This position offers the exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile event in the food and beverage sector, contributing directly to the facilitation of global market connections and industry growth.
