Job Description

Infuse Hospitality, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, is a leading provider of culinary and hospitality solutions across corporate workplaces, specialty venues, and mixed-use spaces. With a footprint that spans dining locations nationwide, Infuse Hospitality is committed to redefining how hospitality enhances the environments where people work, gather, and connect. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality, innovative hospitality services that balance operational excellence with an exceptional guest experience. Infuse Hospitality's approach integrates thoughtful event planning, meticulous service execution, and passionate leadership to create memorable experiences that support client and community needs.

The Events Manager role at Infuse Hospitality is a dynamic and operationally focused position responsible for driving, coordinating, and executing all beverage service and hospitality events within the San Francisco Design Center campus. This is not a sales or commission-based role; rather, it centers on operational performance, financial controls, and maintaining impeccable service quality. The Events Manager functions as the primary liaison between clients and the company from initial inquiries through post-event follow-ups, ensuring every event is meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments and can lead teams with professionalism and exemplary service standards.

Key responsibilities of the Events Manager include comprehensive event planning and client experience management such as conducting site tours, tastings, and client meetings; developing proposals, pricing, and event orders; and coordinating critical event details including menus, timelines, staffing, and layouts. Additionally, the role involves overseeing on-site event operations – from setup to service execution and breakdown – and leading the event team through pre-shift briefings to maintain consistency, attentiveness, and quality. The Events Manager also acts decisively to resolve operational challenges in real-time while upholding the brand’s presentation and hospitality standards.

Leadership is a cornerstone of this role. The Events Manager supervises bartenders, servers, captains, and support staff, providing clear direction and supporting their professional development. They lead by example in high-volume service situations and foster a team culture marked by operational credibility and work ethic. Financial and business management responsibilities include preparing estimates, invoices, and billing documentation, monitoring revenue and labor costs, supporting budget forecasts, and ensuring timely payments.

Compliance and safety are strictly maintained by the Events Manager, with ongoing vigilance regarding alcohol service regulations, sanitation standards, and emergency procedures. The management of vendor relationships is also crucial, including coordination of rentals, florals, audiovisual equipment, and staffing partners, ensuring all compliance and insurance requirements are met. Post-event duties round out the role with walkthroughs to restore event spaces, client follow-ups within 24 hours, and gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of event management experience in beverage sales within hospitality, hotel, catering, or restaurant environments. Candidates should exhibit a strong command of event planning and execution workflows, exceptional client service and communication abilities, and proficiency with event management software, with Tripleseat experience preferred. Certifications such as ServSafe, Allergen Awareness, and Responsible Alcohol Service are highly regarded or can be obtained shortly after hire.

Flexibility in scheduling is essential due to the nature of event timings, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to respond to urgent operational needs outside standard business hours. The physical demands include being active on-site during events and restaurant operational hours, and the capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Infuse Hospitality values a culture of continuous learning and development. The company encourages applicants who may not meet every requirement but demonstrate the determination and capacity to grow into the role. Emphasizing inclusivity and career growth, Infuse Hospitality is committed to hiring culture accelerators who will thrive and make an impact within their team and the broader organization.
