Job Description
Infuse Hospitality, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company specializing in culinary and hospitality solutions for corporate workplaces, specialty venues, and mixed-use spaces activations. Infuse Hospitality is dedicated to redefining how hospitality enhances the places where people work, gather, and connect by providing exceptional beverage service and event experiences across various venues, including the San Francisco Design Center campus. With a strong presence in dining operations nationwide, Infuse Hospitality is known for its commitment to operational excellence, premium guest experiences, and leadership in the hospitality industry.
The role of Events Manager is a critical leadership position focused on driving, coordinating, and executing beverage service and hospitality events. This is not a sales or commission-based role but is primarily contract-driven with success measured by operational performance, financial control, and service quality. The Events Manager acts as the primary client contact from initial inquiries through post-event follow-up, ensuring each event runs smoothly and meets high standards. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong service leadership, professionalism, and hands-on management.
In this role, the Events Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, including conducting site tours, tastings, and client planning meetings, developing detailed event proposals and pricing strategies, and coordinating event menus, timelines, staffing, and layouts. The position requires a keen attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records in event management systems such as Tripleseat.
On the operational side, the Events Manager ensures flawless on-site event setup, service execution, and breakdown while leading pre-shift briefings to prepare staff for timelines, VIP guests, and service expectations. Problem-solving skills and composure are essential for addressing any operational challenges in real time. Maintaining brand presentation and service quality standards is a top priority.
This leadership role includes supervising bartenders, servers, captains, and support staff during events, providing clear direction on service flow and assignments, and supporting staff training and development. The manager leads by example, often participating hands-on during high-volume events to ensure premium service delivery.
Financial management responsibilities include preparing event estimates, invoices, and billing; monitoring revenue, labor costs, and cost of goods; supporting forecasting and budget tracking; and ensuring timely deposit and payment processing. Compliance and safety oversight ensure adherence to alcohol service regulations, sanitation standards, and safety protocols, including communicating emergency procedures and promptly reporting incidents.
Vendor and partner coordination is also a key responsibility, managing logistics for rentals, florals, audiovisual equipment, and staffing partners while verifying vendor compliance documentation and insurance. Post-event duties include conducting walkthroughs to restore event spaces, sending client follow-up communications within 24 hours, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong hospitality leadership presence, ownership mentality, solution-oriented thinking, excellent communication skills, and emotional composure under pressure. Leadership presence on the floor during peak service is essential, and performance is evaluated based on operational execution, financial results, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.
This role requires flexibility in schedule with availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to respond to urgent operational or client needs outside of standard business hours. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and maintain an active on-site presence during events and operational hours.
Infuse Hospitality encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds who may not meet all the listed requirements but have the potential and determination to succeed and grow within the role to apply. The company fosters a culture of learning and development and values culture accelerators who are committed to growth and excellence.
