Job Description

The hiring establishment is a fast-growing, venture-backed consumer platform that operates at the dynamic intersection of community, education, and services. This company specializes in creating meaningful connections within diverse and multicultural markets through a variety of engaging events such as workshops, clinics, meetups, and strategic partnerships. As a platform dedicated to fostering growth and community engagement, the company leverages events as a core acquisition and engagement channel integral to its overall business strategy. Its commitment to scaling the volume and quality of events speaks to broad ambitions and a commitment to sustained expansion and impact.

This consumer platform has developed a reputation for its innovative approach toward community building and educational services, serving multicultural audiences with tailored programming that speaks to the varied needs and interests of its users. With the company poised to increase its annual events from dozens to hundreds, the operational infrastructure and execution capabilities must evolve to meet this scale. The culture here is highly mission-driven and fast-paced, offering an environment where individuals have the chance to make tangible impacts on business growth and community engagement.

The role of the Events Associate is pivotal within the company’s events ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Events Lead and Head of Growth, this position is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in managing complex, multi-event workflows. The Events Associate will own the operational execution and logistics that underpin the company’s rapidly expanding event program. This means managing all aspects of event coordination—from planning and vendor coordination to venue sourcing, registration management, material production, and onsite execution.

This role is not just about keeping events running smoothly but also involves improving operational templates and processes, building vendor relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the events program by supporting testing of new event formats and expansion opportunities. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with community partners, local organizations, and varied demographic markets to drive engagement and event success.

With an anticipated 15 to 30 events each month, the Events Associate is charged with maintaining an up-to-date and accurate events calendar across multiple channels and partner organizations. They will also be responsible for managing event budgets, tracking expenditures against plan, and diligently reporting on event metrics such as attendance, lead capture, conversion rates, and cost per event. This high-impact role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, working with data, and using various event and productivity tools such as registration platforms, CRM systems, and project management software.

The company values proactive problem solvers who take pride in flawless logistics and enjoy working in an environment with evolving priorities and fast-changing demands. This is a highly hands-on role requiring travel and onsite presence at some events, making it well-suited for candidates who are adaptable, thrive in execution-heavy roles, and enjoy engaging with diverse communities on the ground. The ability to operate in ambiguous settings and tackle a high volume of concurrent deadlines is essential.

In summary, the Events Associate role offers a compelling career opportunity at the heart of a high-growth company’s growth engine. It provides exposure to leadership across growth, community, and operations while enabling candidates to contribute directly to scaling a vital business channel. The role promises significant professional growth potential and the chance to be instrumental in the company’s mission to connect and empower diverse communities.
