Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial event management within marketing, corporate, or agency environments
- proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events with strong attention to detail
- experience delivering both in-person and virtual events
- vendor and venue sourcing expertise including contract negotiation and budget management
- familiarity with lead capture and post-event follow-up workflows
- 2+ years managing corporate social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube
- experience creating and executing social media strategies for event promotion and thought leadership
- strong content creation skills including copywriting and adapting tone for various audiences
- ability to develop and maintain social media content calendars
- experience managing content approval workflows and compliance
- proficiency with social media management tools
- ability to analyze key social media performance metrics and optimize content
- knowledge of SEO best practices for social media including hashtag use and keyword strategies

Job Duties
- strategize with business stakeholders and own event delivery from concept through post-event wrap-up
- build project plans for each event, manage dependencies, and ensure deadlines are met
- create scalable processes to support both small and large event formats
- lead on sponsorships, exhibitions and booth management for industry events
- coordinate with venues on exhibition booths including design coordination, shipping/logistics, and on-site setup/breakdown
- ensure brand consistency across events
- coordinate speaker logistics, invitations, registration forms, and briefing calls
- partner with marketing team and business units to ensure messaging aligns with campaign priorities
- manage vendor sourcing and negotiations including contracts, AV, catering, staffing, rentals, photography/video, and signage
- own registration process including pages, confirmation emails, check-in, badges, seating, and accessibility support
- manage attendee communications pre, during, and post event
- own event collateral and giveaways from concept to distribution including sourcing, design, ordering, inventory, and on-site setup
- manage signage, printed materials, booth assets in partnership with Brand/Creative
- promote the marketing calendar internally to ensure firm-wide awareness and participation
- create and manage internal communications plans for marketing events including announcements, reminders, recaps, and stakeholder updates
- own event budgets with forecasting, tracking, and invoice processing
- define success metrics and run post-event debriefs to capture feedback and improve processes
- develop and execute social media strategy to promote events and amplify thought leadership content
- create social media content calendars aligned with reports, events, and campaigns
- work with creative teams to generate engaging social media content including copy, graphics, and videos
- monitor social media engagement and foster community
