Job Description

Concord Hospitality is a distinguished hotel management company known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and exceptional guest experiences. With a strong presence in the hospitality industry, Concord manages a diverse portfolio of hotels that prioritize superior service and community engagement. At its core, Concord Hospitality fosters an "Associate First" culture, promoting growth, balance, and diversity among its team members. The company prides itself on creating a work environment that is recognized as a Great Place to Work for all. Concord Hospitality provides extensive training and development opportunities, ensuring its associates have the resources and support needed to advance their careers and succeed in the highly competitive hospitality sector.

The role of an Event Manager at Concord Hospitality is pivotal to the success of its hotels and the overall guest experience. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating the planning and seamless execution of various events, ensuring every detail aligns with the company’s high standards. This role demands not only exceptional organizational and communication skills but also a passion for hospitality and a guest-focused mindset. You will lead all aspects of event management, from coordinating room blocks and function spaces to managing audio-visual needs, catering requirements, and contracts. Your ability to maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal hotel teams will be essential to delivering flawless events that exceed expectations.

Beyond the logistical components, the Event Manager is also expected to inspire and lead their team with integrity and professionalism. Creating a positive and supportive work environment is a key responsibility, as is encouraging team members to reach their full potential. Concord Hospitality values leaders who are transparent, respectful, and genuinely care for their associates and their families. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a culture that emphasizes community, profitability, fun, and quality — all while ensuring event-day operations run smoothly from start to finish.

Your duties will include maintaining accurate records such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event orders, group resumes, billing details, and event schedules to ensure every function is meticulously organized. You will handle pre-event preparation, active management during events, and post-event follow-up, always with a focus on detail, timeliness, and superior quality. Understanding the hotel’s food and beverage offerings along with the function spaces and presentation standards will help you optimize the event experience for all attendees. Quick and effective responses to client requests or changes will be crucial, requiring you to stay flexible and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment.

At Concord Hospitality, the Event Manager role is more than just coordinating events; it is about creating memorable experiences that reflect the company’s respected brand and commitment to excellence. This position offers a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance and disability options, a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition assistance, and discounted room rates at Concord-managed hotels. Additionally, Concord’s dedication to associate training, development, and career advancement means you can grow professionally while being part of a leading hospitality company that truly values its people and culture.
