The Event Manager position at Game Day USA is a dynamic role designed for a highly organized and self-motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments. This role encompasses full-cycle event planning and execution, from coordinating logistics and managing sales processes to overseeing event setup and staff coordination. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and may benefit from prior experience in sports-related event management. They will play a critical role in maintaining and growing the company’s reputation by delivering well-managed and smoothly executed events.
The Event Manager will be entrusted with managing internal sales processes for team and individual events using the company’s CRM system. Key responsibilities include achieving sales objectives, developing customer engagement through social media, particularly on Facebook, and collaborating with the marketing and media teams to create effective event marketing materials. This role also requires strong leadership for event staff recruitment, communication, and logistical management, including hotel and travel arrangements. Budget management before and after events is crucial to ensure financial accountability and event success.
On event days, the Event Manager will oversee event setup and breakdown, managing logistics such as unloading and loading equipment, placing event supplies, and setting up merchandise. The position demands excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate efforts across multiple departments and external partners. Additionally, some travel is required to attend and assist with events throughout the year.

Job Duties
- Manage the internal sales process for team and individual events through daily management of the CRM system
- Meet established sales objectives by presenting customers with the event(s) responsible for selling
- Create, maintain, and utilize a professional Facebook account to engage directly with customers regularly
- Assist in the development of new ways of growing leads, opportunities, and customers
- Work with the marketing/media team to produce event marketing material for each event brand necessary to meet and exceed sales objectives
- Assist with event staff recruitment, application, and communication
- Manage staff and personnel hotel and travel arrangements
- Manage pre-event and post-event budgets for each event
- Direct event setup and breakdown of events including unloading/loading of trucks and trailers as necessary, placement of event equipment and supplies, setup of merchandise, etc.
- Coordinate with all team members to achieve company goals
- Attend and assist with the execution of events throughout the year, some travel required
