Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
- At least 1 year experience in event management
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to handle billing accuracy
- Experience managing room blocks and events
- Ability to lead and coordinate event teams
- Availability to work full time
- Bonus eligibility understanding
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience in customer service and team leadership
- Proficient in coordinating logistics and billing accuracy
- Ability to use judgment to integrate current event trends
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
- Ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures
- Greet customers during the event phase and transition to Event Operations team
- Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
- Identify and resolve operational challenges with property staff and customers
- Lead formal pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
- Up-sell products and services throughout the event process
