Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in event management or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
  • At least 1 year experience in event management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle billing accuracy
  • Experience managing room blocks and events
  • Ability to lead and coordinate event teams
  • Availability to work full time
  • Bonus eligibility understanding

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience in customer service and team leadership
  • Proficient in coordinating logistics and billing accuracy
  • Ability to use judgment to integrate current event trends

Job Duties

  • Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
  • Ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures
  • Greet customers during the event phase and transition to Event Operations team
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for assigned groups
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges with property staff and customers
  • Lead formal pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups
  • Up-sell products and services throughout the event process
