- 3+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or client-facing roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Experience in higher education, nonprofit, fundraising, or advancement events preferred
- Background in guest services, VIP relations, or hospitality management preferred
- Experience working with donors, executives, or high-profile stakeholders preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems and event management platforms preferred
- Ability to design elevated, memorable guest experiences preferred
- Knowledge of event marketing and communications strategies preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute advancement events including donor receptions and alumni engagements
- Develop event concepts, run-of-show documents, and production timelines
- Serve as primary contact for clients, donors, and VIP guests
- Manage event logistics such as catering, audiovisual, venue setup, and transportation
- Oversee vendor sourcing, contracts, and on-site coordination
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and track expenses
- Lead on-site event execution, supervise staff and volunteers, and troubleshoot issues
- Prepare post-event reports and manage follow-up communications
- Use CRM and event tools to track engagement and outcomes
