The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of event logistics, including vendor management, catering, audiovisual needs, transportation, and venue setup. They will work closely with internal teams such as communications, development, facilities, and public safety to ensure seamless event execution that complies with university policies and risk management standards. Budget management is a critical component, as the incumbent will develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, negotiate vendor pricing, and ensure cost efficiency across multiple simultaneous events.
On-site, the Event Manager will provide hands-on leadership, troubleshooting challenges in real time to maintain smooth flow and high-quality attendee experiences.
