The venue specializes in creating memorable moments through meticulously planned events including private parties, weddings, wine club gatherings, and concerts. Recognized for its dedication to high standards and guest satisfaction, Arbor Crest fosters a collaborative and professional environment where creative event management flourishes.
The role of the Event Manager at Arbor Crest is integral to the successful planning and delivery of events of all sizes within this prestigious venue. As the linchpin between the venue, clients, and vendors, the Event Manager is tasked with overseeing the entire event lifecycle from initial planning through to flawless execution. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a capacity to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and the ability to handle unexpected challenges with poise and problem-solving acumen. The Event Manager must possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients after booking, the Event Manager ensures that all event-specific logistics are handled with precision, excluding contractual and payment discussions. Responsibilities include updating Banquet Event Orders, creating detailed floor plans, and coordinating staffing for a wide range of private events, while offering support for specialized functions like wine club parties. The role also demands the management of catering arrangements in collaboration with the kitchen team, supervision of event staff including bar, safety, and coordinating teams, and the ability to conduct final walkthroughs and tastings with clients. The Event Manager leads the coordination of wedding rehearsals and acts as the lead coordinator during the event day to guarantee smooth operations.
Arbor Crest values individuals who bring both creativity and effective business management skills to the table. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who inspires and motivates their team, maintains high professional standards, and communicates excellently with all stakeholders. This position requires flexibility, including willingness to work varying shifts that span days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in different weather conditions are part of the daily routine. The Event Manager role is a full-time seasonal position offering a competitive wage starting at $20 per hour. This opportunity invites candidates eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment dedicated to delivering outstanding event experiences at a premier venue.
