We are seeking a skilled Event Manager to join our dynamic team. The Event Manager will be responsible for both short- and long-term planning and management of events and related sales activities. This includes developing and recommending budgets, marketing plans, and objectives while ensuring operations stay within approved financial limits. The role requires maintaining or exceeding budgeted sales and profits across all event areas and crafting innovative marketing strategies to generate event revenues. The Event Manager will evaluate the feasibility of each event business opportunity to ensure proper servicing and assemble creative event attractions, either leveraging internal resources or outsourcing to qualified vendors.

In addition to overseeing the planning, merchandising, and execution of banquet and catering functions, the Event Manager will train and supervise the event staff, fostering a knowledgeable and motivated team dedicated to customer satisfaction. By leading the event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships, the manager will play a critical role in achieving sales objectives. The role encompasses administering all phases of the event department, including sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures. Moreover, coaching and counseling employees will be part of the manager’s responsibilities to ensure adherence to company service standards and procedures. This position offers a comprehensive and hands-on opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our event business, blending strategic oversight with operational management in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, business administration, or related field
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in event management or related area
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • proven ability to plan and manage budgets
  • excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • proficiency with event management software and tools
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
