Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree
  • minimum one year management experience
  • minimum two years banquet captain experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office suite
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • host special events
  • manage a team of event hosts
  • oversee all setup of appropriate areas
  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to create seamless events
  • build and maintain client relationships
  • ensure completion of event reporting
  • use guest feedback to improve satisfaction
  • schedule event staff based on forecasts
  • counsel and discipline staff according to HR policies
  • work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
