The agency believes that events will become the number one priority for Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), driving brand recognition and fostering meaningful audience relationships.

The Event Management team at Opus Agency is central to bringing this vision to life. They work closely with world-shaping brands and fast-growing global companies to not only adapt to the evolving event landscape but to proactively steer the industry forward. As an Event Manager, you will be an essential part of this dynamic team, responsible for managing multiple medium to large-scale event programs or leading smaller, focused initiatives. This role requires you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and other contributors to ensure seamless execution and the success of each project.

Reporting to a Senior Event Manager or Director of Event Management, the Event Manager position offers a full-time, exempt employment opportunity based in Beaverton, Seattle, or remote locations, with a salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. This role involves approximately 25-30% travel, and a valid passport is required. Candidates will be expected to independently oversee components of various events, embody strong leadership and project management skills, and foster trusted partnerships with clients. Event Managers must be proactive, results-oriented, able to juggle demanding deadlines, and proficient in driving event projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities include anticipating client needs, managing budgets with precision alongside financial managers, negotiating with vendors for service quality and cost efficiency, training junior team members, and maintaining clear communication across all channels. The position demands critical thinking, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities while maintaining a high-quality output under a fast-paced environment. The Event Manager must also be highly organized, uphold professional presence, and operate with integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of dedicated event management experience, preferably within the events industry, and a demonstrated history with events hosting 500 to 3,000 attendees. A bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Opus Agency’s best practices is expected. The role offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive and inclusive work culture. Benefits include health and dental insurance options, employer-paid short-term disability, life insurance, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and generous paid time off.
