Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of event management experience
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale events
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines and multitask
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel 25-30% with a valid passport
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Results-oriented with problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution preferred
  • 3-5 years of event management experience preferably within the event industry
  • Experience managing events with 500 to 3,000 attendees
  • Strong project and client management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and problem-solving capabilities

Job Duties

  • Manage components on multiple medium to large-scale event programs or lead small to medium-scale programs
  • Ensure stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and contributors understand their responsibilities
  • Drive seamless execution of event projects
  • Anticipate client needs and manage planning schedules
  • Manage budgets accurately with financial managers and secure client approvals
  • Negotiate with vendors for service quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Maintain clear communication among internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Identify risks and implement creative solutions
  • Participate in department meetings, trainings, and initiatives
