Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of event management experience
- Experience managing medium to large-scale events
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines and multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel 25-30% with a valid passport
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Results-oriented with problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution preferred
- 3-5 years of event management experience preferably within the event industry
- Experience managing events with 500 to 3,000 attendees
- Strong project and client management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and problem-solving capabilities
Job Duties
- Manage components on multiple medium to large-scale event programs or lead small to medium-scale programs
- Ensure stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and contributors understand their responsibilities
- Drive seamless execution of event projects
- Anticipate client needs and manage planning schedules
- Manage budgets accurately with financial managers and secure client approvals
- Negotiate with vendors for service quality and cost-effectiveness
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Maintain clear communication among internal teams, clients, and vendors
- Identify risks and implement creative solutions
- Participate in department meetings, trainings, and initiatives
