Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year plus management experience
- experience in hospitality or event planning
- strong communication skills
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to walk, bend, stand for periods
- ability to lift moderate objects with assistance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year plus management experience
- 2 years plus banquet captain experience
- knowledge of food and beverage industry
- experience in event planning and execution
- proficiency in MS Office suite and database software
- knowledge of POS register systems
Job Duties
- Host special events
- manage a team of event hosts
- oversee setup of event areas
- collaborate with sales and operations to ensure seamless event execution
- build and maintain client relationships
- complete event reporting and use feedback for improvement
- schedule and counsel event staff according to policies
