This full-time position offers a total compensation range of $50,000 to $60,000 plus bonuses. The role involves splitting the workweek between the office and field travel, focusing on event marketing and retail site development.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Sr. Manager of Event Marketing by recruiting, hiring, and training Event Marketing Promoters. Your responsibilities will also extend to forming vendor and sponsorship agreements by reaching out to various events. Office duties include conducting one-on-one coaching sessions, scheduling teams, preparing event supplies, and assisting with the research and booking of events specifically in Charleston and Hilton Head.

A significant part of your job will involve spending time outside the office attending to retail sites and events. You will perform onsite visits and training for Event Marketing Promoters, ensuring lead generation is executed efficiently. After each site visit, you are required to submit a comprehensive review to the Sr. Manager of Event Marketing. These site visits, mostly scheduled on weekends, will be crucial in maintaining a culture of positive reinforcement across all event and retail locations.

Your role is vital in keeping event agents motivated and competitive while serving as the primary point of contact at event locations. You will actively engage in the field during your team's working hours, assisting with event setup, execution, and breakdown. Additionally, you may occasionally be required to handle call center duties to ensure proper appointment qualification and scheduling. Maintaining professionalism, managing inventory, and providing the Senior Manager with feedback and event recaps are also important aspects of this job.

The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to listen and provide valuable feedback. You should have at least two years of leadership experience managing teams of 5-10 outside agents, with a background in marketing and/or sales. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as this role demands working under tight deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and being data-driven to derive insights from qualitative and quantitative data are essential capabilities. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, step up, and kneel.

Join a team committed to a positive and dynamic work culture where your contribution to event success and team growth is recognized and rewarded. With benefits including paid training, health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k, this position offers a promising career path within a respected and community-oriented company.
