Job Description
Our organization is dedicated to providing exceptional event experiences through meticulous planning, coordination, and execution. As a leader in the event management industry, we specialize in organizing a wide range of gatherings including meetings, tastings, tours, and open houses. We pride ourselves on creating environments that are not only functional but also aesthetically appealing, ensuring every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression on clients and guests alike.
Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Event Intern to join our Event Coordination and Sales Team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in event sales, planning, and hospitality management. The selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of event preparation and execution, including assisting with setting up event spaces to be market-ready, supporting general office administration, participating in client meetings, and coordinating vendor schedules. Training will be provided to develop the necessary skills and knowledge, making this an ideal role for individuals looking to start a career in the events industry.
As an Event Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our event spaces reflect the highest standards. This includes arranging lighting, candles, vendor materials, audio-visual setups, marketing collateral, and food and beverage displays to meet specific client requirements. You will also assist in office tasks such as filing, data entry, handling communications, and appointment confirmations, contributing to the smooth daily operations of our team.
The role requires active participation in client meetings, including drop-off meetings and ceremony rehearsals, allowing interns to gain insight into client needs and event logistics. On the day of events, you will assist with venue setup, adhering to client specifications and our company standards to deliver a memorable experience. Additionally, your involvement in researching current trends in event design, décor, and food and beverage will support our teams in staying ahead in the competitive event market.
The internship demands a flexible schedule, including availability during evenings and weekends, to accommodate the dynamic nature of the events business. Professional dress and a passion for the special events industry are essential to reflect our company’s commitment to excellence. This position offers invaluable exposure to event planning and hospitality, making it an excellent stepping stone for those aspiring to build a career in this exciting field.
