Job Requirements

  • open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students seeking an internship to fulfill class credits and/or paid internship
  • housing/transportation are the responsibility of the student
  • must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • must be available during normal business hours, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the Addition Financial Arena event calendar
  • must have experience using microsoft office and excel
  • must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
  • must be customer service oriented and professional

Job Duties

  • work with event managers to correct department deficiencies
  • learn to lead, manage, and supervise part time event staff
  • learn to read and understand event diagrams and event instructions
  • learn event configuration standards and setup requirements
  • learn the various departments in the building and their event day responsibilities
  • gain hands on experience in the event planning process, having the opportunity to learn and impact a wide array of events
