Job Description
AEG has been a global leader in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, known for transforming sports and live entertainment experiences. Each year, AEG hosts more than 160 million guests across over 300 venues worldwide, producing and promoting over 10,000 shows and presenting more than 22,000 events globally. This renowned entertainment company is committed to innovation, artistry, and community, blending the excitement of premier sports franchises, marquee music brands, integrated entertainment districts, and a leading ticketing platform. AEG's dedication extends beyond entertainment; it focuses on creating memorable moments that invigorate audiences and foster a sense of shared celebration worldwide.
AEG strives to maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the wide range of artists, athletes, and fans it serves. The company's values emphasize supporting the communities where it operates while pursuing environmentally sustainable practices throughout its operations. This sustainable approach integrates community engagement with responsible business practices, ensuring that AEG's impact remains positive and forward-looking.
AEG is currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill roles such as Box Office Attendants, Coat Check Staff, and Venue Hosts. These positions are essential to delivering a superior guest experience, making them critical to AEG’s operational success. Employment opportunities are event-based, offering dynamic work environments where employees engage directly with guests during concerts, sports events, and other live performances.
The Box Office Attendant plays a vital role in guest relations by providing detailed information on event locations, seating options, and pricing. They process ticket sales and payments accurately, helping guests select the best ticket options. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently are essential for success in this role. Employees in this position must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Coat Check Staff supports guest services by managing coat check operations, selling concessions, and assisting with guest inquiries. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods, as well as a positive attitude and previous event experience. The Coat Check Staff often serve as an important touchpoint for guests, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
The Venue Host is responsible for providing an exceptional level of guest service, including seating VIP guests and those with ADA requirements. This role involves monitoring guest behavior, ensuring compliance with event policies, and facilitating communication across departments. Venue Hosts are expected to be proactive problem solvers with excellent interpersonal skills, able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
All these roles are paid competitively, with the Box Office Attendant and Venue Host positions offering pay rates of $23.00 per hour and the Coat Check Staff position offering $20.76 per hour. While these event-based roles do not include eligibility for bonuses or company-provided benefits, they provide valuable opportunities to work within a high-energy, entertaining, and guest-focused setting. AEG emphasizes equal opportunity employment and does not offer work visa sponsorship for these positions.
