With headquarters in Stamford, CT, Octagon offers a hybrid work environment with office locations in Stamford, CT; New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; and Chicago, IL, making it flexible and accessible for professionals eager to contribute to a world-class hospitality and events team.
The Event Executive role at Octagon is a critical position within the hospitality team, focused on planning and executing high-quality event and experiential marketing programs. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage multiple hospitality projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, delivering a broad array of hosting and event experiences that inspire, engage, and delight clients and guests. The individual in this role will work closely with vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure all event logistics are seamless, from vendor management and merchandise handling to guest communication and on-site event support. Emphasis is placed on creativity, detailed organization, and the ability to adapt to evolving project demands.
This position requires a passion for sports, entertainment, and lifestyle culture and is ideal for professionals who enjoy travel and thrive in dynamic team settings. The role is overtime eligible with a salary starting at $40,000 and includes benefits designed to support personal and professional growth. The candidate must be a proactive self-starter, skilled in managing competing priorities under strict deadlines, and able to offer innovative solutions to challenges.
Joining Octagon means becoming part of a collaborative team that values the power of 'play' to generate big ideas and enhance the fan experience. Candidates with at least one year of related experience, especially those with hospitality backgrounds, will find ample opportunity for growth and impact in this role. Additionally, this role supports hybrid work arrangements but prioritizes candidates open to working three days a week in the office to facilitate teamwork and project success.
