Job Description
The Company is a leading North American sales and marketing agency specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services tailored for manufacturers, suppliers, and producers within the food products and consumer packaged goods sectors. Serving a comprehensive spectrum of trade channels—including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers—the Company acts as a vital bridge connecting manufacturers with retailers, facilitating consumer access to top-tier products available in today's market. Known for its dedication to growth, both for brands and individuals, the Company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment where talent flourishes alongside business expansion.
Currently, the Company is seeking an experienced and visionary Event Director to join as part of an exciting opportunity in partnership with Anheuser-Busch, one of the world's most iconic and influential beverage brands. This is a full-time, three-month temporary position that offers remote working flexibility within the United States, with up to 50% travel required. The Event Director will play a critical leadership role in envisioning, planning, and executing large-scale events and incentive programs that resonate with audiences and deliver memorable brand experiences that reinforce Anheuser-Busch's market leadership.
In this role, you will be tasked with the full lifecycle management of high-impact events—from initial concept development through to post-event analysis. You'll be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams in Client Services, Creative, Hospitality, and Production, ensuring seamless coordination, negotiation, and programming. Budget oversight is fundamental, requiring expert management of forecasting, cost control, contracts, and return on investment measures. Vendor and venue sourcing, contract negotiation with a keen understanding of hospitality industry nuances, and maintaining strong client and vendor relationships will be essential facets of your duties. Leading a talented team, you will foster growth, coach performance, and ensure all events meet the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
The role demands a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and embraces innovation in event production. You will act as the primary liaison for all destination and vendor communications, guaranteeing program execution adheres to defined timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations. Continuous process and workflow improvement initiatives will be instrumental in enhancing overall program delivery. This opportunity is suited for a detail-oriented professional with outstanding communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and a passion for creating extraordinary experiential marketing programs within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or beverage industries.
This Event Director position presents a unique chance to contribute to and influence the success of one of the largest and most prestigious brands in the world. It offers career-enhancing exposure, the opportunity to work remotely, and a robust travel component that brings event leadership to life on diverse national and global stages. If you are committed to excellence, client satisfaction, and inspirational event experiences, this role is your pathway to making a lasting impact and advancing your career in event production and management.
