Job Description

Our company, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a dedicated leader in event planning and design, known for creating memorable and impactful corporate, non-profit, and social events across a multi-state region and beyond. As a firm that prides itself on innovation, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail, we specialize in transforming client visions into extraordinary experiences. Our talented team works collaboratively to manage all facets of event production, including logistics, design, vendor relationships, and on-site execution, ensuring each event is flawlessly delivered and leaves a lasting impression. We welcome candidates with a passion for event design, offering a supportive and dynamic workplace where creativity and project management skills are put to the test. This full-time, in-office position provides an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to grow in the event management industry while working with a diverse client base across various sectors.

As an Event Designer, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of events ranging from corporate functions to nonprofit fundraisers and social gatherings. This role requires a hands-on approach with a strong emphasis on creativity, organization, and client engagement. You will be deeply involved in every stage of the event lifecycle, from initial concept development with clients through detailed research, vendor sourcing, layout planning, and final on-site coordination. Your ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, negotiate contracts effectively, and foster strong vendor and partner relationships will be essential to your success. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with event project managers and creative teams to develop compelling design presentations and maintain budget oversight. Given the regional scope of the events, travel within the five-state area and occasionally to other parts of the country will be required, along with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. This role suits professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, possess excellent communication skills, and are adept problem solvers. Our comprehensive compensation package includes competitive salary and benefits like medical, vision, dental insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and incentives for client acquisition, supporting both your career and personal growth in a vibrant team-oriented culture.
