Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Availability to work part-time and flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout facility
- Ensure that all areas remain free of trash
- Restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean
- Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing
- Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use
- Ensures all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions
- Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts
- Ensures all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them
- Completes daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event
- Assists clients with requests during events
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations
- Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments
- Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Management
- Other duties may be assigned
