Based in Rochester, Minnesota, Word on Fire is deeply committed to promoting the Catholic Church's teachings and values globally while utilizing modern communication strategies to engage diverse audiences effectively. The organization combines faith with contemporary culture in its approach, ensuring its messaging is both spiritually enriching and accessible to contemporary society.

The Event Creative Specialist role at Word on Fire is a vital position within the event team, reporting directly to the Events Director. This full-time position is designed for a creative and strategic thinker who can develop immersive and culturally resonant event experiences aligned with the ministry's missionary goals. The role involves collaborating closely with creative teams and channel owners to create detailed creative briefs and content blueprints that support the seamless execution of the event's strategic vision. Furthermore, the specialist will help measure the success of event narratives through comprehensive post-event analysis and develop strategies to track the long-term impact of Word on Fire's events against their mission-driven objectives.

This position demands strong organizational skills, exceptional copywriting proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Candidates should possess a blend of analytical curiosity and creative flair, demonstrated by their ability to connect data, logic, and emotion through investigative research. The role also offers a competitive annual salary range of $60,000 to $73,000, with benefits including flexible work-from-home options, comprehensive insurance coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. The role requires occasional flexible hours, some travel throughout the year, and a commitment to the Catholic mission of Word on Fire.
