Their dynamic venues are designed to cater to birthdays, corporate gatherings, group events, and casual outings, making them a go-to choice for both families and businesses seeking fun and excitement. With a commitment to excellence, safety, and superior guest service, Main Event has established itself as a prominent player in the entertainment and hospitality industry.
At Main Event, the Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in bringing guests' visions to life by delivering tailored, memorable event experiences. This position is responsible not only for coordinating bookings and ensuring the smooth execution of events but also for upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Event Coordinators act as ambassadors of fun, engaging with guests to understand their needs and preferences, while coordinating various packages and add-ons to customize their event. Beyond planning and selling events, coordinators utilize advanced systems for sales data input, guest tracking, and follow-up task management to ensure exceptional service and business growth.
The role demands a blend of interpersonal, sales, and organizational skills. Event Coordinators partner with Sales Managers to exceed budgeted sales targets, especially for birthday parties, group events, and corporate functions. They actively prospect and build relationships through cold calling and local marketing initiatives designed to increase foot traffic and event bookings. This position entails active participation in weekly sales meetings, contributing strategic ideas to support and enhance overall business objectives.
Flexibility is key in this role, with required availability spanning days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet guest demands and support store operations. Salaries for the Event Coordinator position range approximately from $13.33 to $18.50 per hour, with a standard pay range between $14.58 and $19.75. Main Event values its team members by fostering an inclusive, rewarding, and fun workplace culture that encourages internal promotions and continuous personal and professional growth.
Main Event Entertainment offers comprehensive perks to their employees, including generous discounts on food, beverages, activities, and unlimited game play, alongside a tuition reimbursement program and an empowering rewards and recognition system. Team members benefit from paid time off, financial assistance through the Family Fund, and opportunities to become certified trainers, setting the foundation for career advancement within the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a pivotal part of a new center opening team, welcoming fresh challenges and growth potential in a supportive, engaging environment. Main Event Entertainment is committed to equal opportunity employment and complies with E-Verify where required, reflecting its dedication to fairness and legal adherence.
