Job Description

As a Forbes-rated property, The Setai prides itself on maintaining impeccable standards across all guest experiences, encompassing dining, wellness, and accommodation. This prestigious establishment caters to discerning international travelers and locals alike, providing an environment that emphasizes exclusivity, personalized service, and operational excellence.

The role of Event Coordinator at The Setai is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-driven professional to contribute to the seamless planning and execution of bespoke guest experiences. This full-time, non-management role focuses on supporting intimate, high-touch events primarily within the hotel's dining outlets and select private spaces. The Event Coordinator acts as a pivotal liaison between guests, internal teams, and management, ensuring that every detail from reservations to event execution meets the rigorous standards set forth by The Setai and its Forbes rating.

Responsibilities include managing private dining, group reservations, VIP guest experiences, and special activations, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all departments. The coordinator is also entrusted with preparing detailed event summaries and overseeing real-time event operations to anticipate guest needs and maintain an elevated level of service. This role requires close partnership with Food and Beverage leadership to guarantee consistency in service standards and operational flow.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, polished communication, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A flexible schedule is essential, as the position requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Event Coordinator is expected to uphold the highest levels of professionalism and discretion, managing last-minute changes with a solutions-oriented approach while identifying opportunities to enhance revenue through personalized service. This position also involves post-event follow-up and documentation to ensure continued excellence in guest experiences and operational improvements.

Working at The Setai means joining a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering unforgettable moments for guests. The company offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off, and various employee discounts. If you are passionate about luxury hospitality and have a keen eye for detail, this role provides a unique platform to grow within one of Miami Beach's most prestigious hotel environments.
