The Onsite Service Coordinator position based in Alameda, CA, plays a critical role in managing Fooda's dynamic food and beverage program for a valued client. This role functions as the direct liaison between the client, Fooda's operations team, and all onsite staff, overseeing the day-to-day management and performance of onsite food service operations. The position champions the creation of an exceptional customer experience on a daily basis, ensuring that the food service operations not only meet but exceed client objectives, customer expectations, and financial goals.

This part-time role offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, for 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on client needs and operational demands. The Onsite Service Coordinator is required to be onsite in Alameda daily to guarantee superior operational standards, ensure client engagement, and maintain comprehensive account management with proactive communication and problem-solving. This role thrives on strong organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for inventory management and financial tracking, alongside excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships and lead the service team effectively.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a food service organization and possess previous management experience overseeing hourly or full-time staff. Job Duties

  • Supervising day-to-day food service operations of a client to ensure on time setup and consistent service
  • inventory management, ordering, receiving, and restocking of pantry products, beverages, and snacks
  • manage client budgets - tracking spend, forecasting future growth, and ensuring all purchases remain within approved financial parameters
  • complete accounting responsibilities, submit invoices, and ensure all financial entries are documented properly within Fooda's systems
  • assist the Fooda team with popup and delivery lunch programs
  • bring a friendly demeanor and proactively engage with client and client's employees to gather feedback, resolve issues, and share updates
  • coordinate equipment repairs as needed
  • communicate regularly with client to provide updates, budget summaries, performance insights, and recommended product changes
