We are currently seeking a part-time Event Coordinator for our Los Angeles market. This position offers a wonderful opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or events who are passionate about food service and eager to work closely with customers and local restaurant partners. The Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting Fooda’s onsite events, ensuring that each setup runs smoothly and that customers enjoy a seamless dining experience. This role requires a hands-on approach to event management, involving setting up the event space, troubleshooting issues in real time, and providing excellent customer service throughout the event.

The successful candidate will develop expertise in Fooda's technology platforms and operational procedures, contributing directly to the quality and consistency of event delivery. Key responsibilities include handling logistical challenges like late deliveries, wrong orders, or restaurant delays, and effectively communicating with both customers and management to resolve concerns promptly. With critical working hours scheduled between evenings on weekdays and mornings on Saturdays, this role suits those who can commit to a flexible part-time schedule ranging from 15 to 25 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Being resourceful under pressure and maintaining organization and attention to detail are essential traits. Familiarity with the North Los Angeles area and access to reliable transportation are important, as event coordinators will travel between multiple locations daily. Prior experience in catering or serving environments is strongly preferred.
