Fooda is a pioneering food service company passionate about creating workplace food programs that employees truly enjoy and anticipate every day. Operating with the power of advanced technology and a vast network of over 2,000 restaurants, Fooda brings fresh, chef-curated meals directly to offices and companies. Each Fooda site hosts a different restaurant daily, offering unique and diverse menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. With an expanding presence across more than 20 major cities in the United States, Fooda is rapidly growing, making it an exciting player in the food delivery and workplace hospitality sector. The company prides itself on being considered one of the top perks by 80% of employees who benefit from its services, highlighting how integral and beloved Fooda’s offerings are in modern work environments.
Currently, Fooda is seeking a full-time Event Coordinator to join its Ohio market team. This role is ideally suited for individuals with experience in hospitality or events who are driven to deepen their knowledge of food service and thrive in a customer-centric atmosphere. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting Fooda’s mission to deliver seamless food service experiences by overseeing event logistics, ensuring smooth set-ups, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and local restaurant partners. This opportunity not only allows for hands-on involvement in daily food events but also provides exposure to Fooda’s innovative technology systems and operational procedures.
The role of Event Coordinator involves being present at food program events to manage set-up and tear-down processes, troubleshoot issues proactively, and ensure every event delivers high-quality customer experiences. Candidates will gain valuable skills using Fooda’s proprietary technology, including point-of-sale and digital menu systems, while also promoting Fooda’s mobile app among customers. A significant part of the position includes problem-solving challenges such as handling incorrect orders, delayed restaurant arrivals, and technical difficulties with on-site equipment. The Event Coordinator also performs audits to maintain consistent service standards and collaborates closely with the Operations Manager to address escalated issues.
This position offers flexible, steady part-time hours during weekdays, primarily focused around lunchtime from 10 am to 2 pm, with potential responsibilities spanning from 8 am to 4 pm, depending on business needs. With a competitive wage of $20 per hour and benefits such as a 401k plan with company match, Fooda supports its employees' career development and fosters long-term advancement opportunities within the company. Additional perks include networking within the local restaurant community and a rewarding work environment where every day brings new challenges and free food. This is a fantastic chance for candidates eager to contribute to a dynamic, fast-growing company specializing in food delivery and workplace hospitality.
