Job Description

A View Venues is a premier event hosting company based in Omaha, NE, known for creating memorable events in three distinct venue locations: A View on State, A View in Fontenelle Hills, and A View West Shores. Each venue offers a unique ambiance ranging from modern and lakeside views to rustic, nature-filled environments, making them ideal for a diverse range of private and corporate events. With the capacity to host anywhere from 30 to 900 guests, A View Venues stands out not only for its beautiful spaces but also for its dedicated and detail-oriented staff committed to delivering flawless event experiences.

The company’s reputation is built on exceptional customer service, responsiveness, and an unwavering commitment to making event planning effortless for its clients. Whether it’s a wedding, private celebration, fundraiser, or corporate gathering, the team at A View Venues handles every detail with professionalism and care to ensure each event is executed seamlessly.

The role of Event Coordinator at A View Venues is a full-time, on-site position based in Omaha, NE, offering a starting wage of $19 per hour along with access to benefits. This position is uniquely hands-on and requires the candidate to be fully engaged throughout the entire event planning and execution process. Remote work is not available, as the role demands a strong presence on-site to manage the various facets of event coordination.

As an Event Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for clients, guiding them through the planning stages and ensuring their vision is successfully brought to life. This fast-paced, dynamic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in environments that require quick thinking, ownership, excellent problem-solving skills, and teamwork. You will work directly with clients to manage every detail, from the earliest conversations to the final moments of an event's execution.

Responsibilities include maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, managing event timelines with precision, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of events on-site. The role also involves troubleshooting unforeseen issues during live events while maintaining composure and organization across multiple concurrent events and deadlines. A critical aspect of this position is supporting sales efforts by building client trust and confidently presenting venue offerings.

This position requires a strong work ethic, punctuality especially during busy event days, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to remain organized in a fast-moving, high-energy environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential due to the nature of the events industry. While previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like Event Management or Hospitality is a plus, it is not mandatory.

The role is active and demanding, with much time spent on your feet and involved in physical aspects of event setups. No two days are the same, offering a rewarding career experience where you get to be part of meaningful moments and see the direct impact of your work in real-time. At A View Venues, the team values a collaborative spirit and dedication to making every guest and client experience extraordinary.
