Job Requirements
- proven experience in event planning event coordination or hospitality management
- strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events and priorities
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- customer-service mindset with professional demeanor
- experience with event marketing strategies
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and event management or CRM software
- valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in event planning coordination or hospitality management
- outstanding communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients vendors and team members
- strong organizational instincts and ability to keep multiple events moving forward
- marketing knowledge and comfort with digital and traditional promotion channels
- cool-headed and deadline-driven mindset
- a CMP or CSEP certification is a plus
Job Duties
- be the primary point of contact for event clients from first inquiry through final follow-up
- manage the event calendar and coordinate facility bookings
- develop pricing proposals and connect clients with vendor partners
- promote upcoming events through marketing channels
- supervise event setup execution and breakdown
- deliver exceptional customer service resolving challenges under pressure
- maintain accurate records of contracts vendor relationships and event documentation
