Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the luxury hospitality or venue sector
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within the luxury hospitality or venue sector
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of event logistics, vendor management, and budget control
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-relations skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creative thinking and a passion for delivering unique and memorable experiences
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of service

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to conceptualize, plan, and execute events that meet their objectives and budget
  • Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, and floor plans
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with a variety of vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainers, and audiovisual technicians
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring seamless operations on the day of the event
  • Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors before, during, and after events
  • Conduct site visits and venue inspections to ensure suitability and feasibility for event requirements
  • Anticipate and resolve potential issues or challenges that may arise during event planning and execution
  • Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Gather client feedback post-event to identify areas for improvement and ensure client satisfaction
  • Assist in marketing and promoting event services offered by the venue
