Job Description

The Ranch at Larimer County, located in Loveland, Colorado, is a vibrant and multifaceted event venue renowned for hosting a diverse array of activities ranging from concerts and trade shows to community celebrations and professional rodeos. As a premier destination in Northern Colorado, The Ranch attracts nearly one million guests annually through its dynamic lineup of over 1,100 events. These events include consumer shows, conventions, sporting events, equestrian competitions, festivals, and the nationally acclaimed Larimer County Fair & PRCA Rodeo. The venue's expansion plans, incorporating new facilities such as an Event Lawn and Amphitheater, underscore its commitment to growth and enhancing the event experience for clients and guests alike.

The role of Event Coordinator I/II at The Ranch is a critical position that involves managing a diverse portfolio of events from initial booking through to post-event settlement. This position is designed for an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at customer service. As an Event Coordinator, you will serve as the primary liaison between the venue and event clients, ensuring that each event is meticulously planned, executed with precision, and aligns with both client expectations and County policies. The job requires coordinating a broad spectrum of logistics – including facility setup, staffing, food and beverage arrangements, security, parking, ticketing, and vendor management.

Beyond managing logistics, the Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with event organizers, vendors, sponsors, community organizations, and internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Parking, Security, and Hospitality. Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to the role, as coordinators support each other and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position also involves budget oversight, financial documentation, and contract compliance, ensuring that all events remain financially viable and professionally managed.

Candidates for this role must demonstrate excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to navigate the often unpredictable nature of live events. Flexibility is essential, with work hours extending into evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate major events including the Larimer County Fair. Technology proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office and event management software, is required to maintain accurate records and streamline event processes.

Working at The Ranch offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team passionate about delivering memorable event experiences. The position not only demands operational excellence but also offers a platform for professional growth in a thriving event venue with an exciting future. The Ranch values initiative, accountability, and a strong client-focus, welcoming individuals who are committed to making impactful contributions in a supportive and innovative environment. This role is typically full-time with standard eight-hour shifts, including some remote work flexibility subject to operational needs. Candidates are encouraged to visit the official Larimer County careers website for complete job descriptions and further details on how to apply.
