With multiple locations, Main Event has become a premier destination for birthday parties, corporate events, and group gatherings. The company's commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative event planning sets it apart in the entertainment industry, fostering memorable experiences for all guests.
The Event Coordinator role at Main Event offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about customer engagement and event management. As an Event Coordinator, you will serve as the vital link between the company and its guests, helping to design tailored birthday and event experiences that are both memorable and enjoyable. This role involves working closely with guests to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing expert guidance on event packages and available add-ons to ensure an unforgettable celebration.
Daily responsibilities include selling, scheduling, and coordinating a wide variety of events, ranging from corporate functions to personal birthday celebrations. The role requires the use of specialized software to input sales data, track guest information, and manage follow-up communications, thereby maintaining strong client relationships. Collaborating with the Sales Manager, the Event Coordinator will strive to exceed sales targets while contributing to the overall success of the entertainment center.
In addition to planning and coordination, the position involves participating in prospecting and cold calling efforts to attract new business. Supporting local marketing initiatives aimed at increasing walk-in traffic and event sales is also part of the job. Main Event emphasizes maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation, and as an Event Coordinator, you will be expected to uphold these standards to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
Teamwork and effective communication are essential to this role, enabling smooth daily operations and fostering a positive workplace culture. The position offers flexible working hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the entertainment industry. Compensation ranges from $10.25 to $15 per hour, depending on experience and performance. Main Event is an equal opportunity employer that participates in E-Verify where required by law and supports diversity and inclusion throughout its workforce.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment and are eager to grow their careers in event coordination and customer service.
